Biita Houdei, formerly known as LéPonds is a singular force in experimental folk. Houdei has released four independent albums and toured nationally with artists like Jeff Tweedy, as well as with long time collaborator Haley Heynderickx.

Growing up in a bi-cultural Persian household, music and song found Biita early on. At this young age, she chose guitar as her instrument and learned to play in her own, intuitive way– now possessing a style completely her own. The songs take unexpected twists & turns; heartwarmingly so.

Formally based in Topanga Canyon, Los Angeles, now based in the Catskills in New York, she returns under a new moniker, along with her most powerful work to date. More soon…
